OBITUARY: Our beloved father Richard Cartoon is at peace after passing away in Atlanta on January 1st 2018. He lived a fulfilling life without regrets, and his pain is no more. He was born December 25th 1949 in Johannesburg South Africa. Although he worked as an accountant In his career, he also dabbled in beekeeping, organic growing, automobile repair, and many other diverse interests. He believed in integrity, humility, and ‘keeping life simple’. He is survived by his wife Maureen, and his sons Daniel, Simon, and Benjamin. There will be graveside services at Arlington Memorial Park in Sandy Springs, GA, on Tuesday January 2nd at 3PM.

Richard had a face I will ever forget. His eyes spoke of love and his presence of genuine humility. In the initial meeting, it were as if I witnessed a rare creature from across the sky that gripped my eyes and changed my soul forever. My dearest condolences to all of the Cartoon family.
